Axial Magnetization: Magnetic poles on the top and bottom faces (through thickness). Ideal for axial flux motors, magnetic couplings, and holding applications where magnetic field is perpendicular to mounting surface.
Radial Magnetization: Magnetic poles on the inner and outer cylindrical surfaces. Preferred for brushless DC motors, servo motors, and rotary encoders where magnetic field is parallel to rotation axis.
Multipole Magnetization: Multiple north-south pole pairs around circumference. Used in stepper motors, precision positioning systems, and encoder wheels requiring precise angular resolution.
